Daniel Sherwood - 203

Hi, I’m Daniel Sherwood. I didn’t pay much attention to politics until 2019 and now I’m paying attention and I know right from wrong. I was what people call a purple voter ever since I could vote and I’ve voted for both parties in the past.  I have a small dog, her name is Kimi and she is my Emotional support dog and she has been amazing.

    Under Trump I was able to dig deep into policy and with all the crazy stuff going on I learned to discover truth and fact from my personal feelings and my opinions. I use TikTok to spread the word about  the dangers of the Republicans and the chaos that they like to create. Now that its heading to a trump and Biden rematch that no one wants I’m on the side with the Democrats and President Biden  has been doing a good job and I want to do everything that I can to get him re elected for another 4 more years. 

     I also use my tiktok to help Democrats get elected and I debate with people and try to get them to vote for Biden or for the Democrats. I admit I’m emotional. I’m afraid that if Trump wins a second term that its the end of the country and I know people laugh at that. I’m awake I know where my values lie and what I stand for. I am apart of the the LGBTQ community and I’ve been learning to love my self  as I make my way through the life. I’m far from perfect, I’ve learned to side aside my emotions and my feelings and I know what needs to be done.

I work full time in retail to pay my bills. I’m currently seeing someone who I hope one day will be my life long partner. Going back to me being scared; I was told that instead of doom scrolling late at night when I can’t sleep I can take action and get involve with the process so that’s why I’m here. I need to know that I did everything I could to help our country. I don’t want to have to flee my home of 34 years but if the worse happens and we lose our country I may have to do just that. I’m also excited to be apart of this process and to share my knowledge with people about the process and to get people involved.
