My name is Richard (Rick) Evans and I’m running to represent the 4th Congressional District as a Delegate to the National Convention in Chicago. I’m a former Chairman of the 16th LD Democrats, serving from 2014-2017. I’m also a former Vice Chair of the Walla Walla County Democrats from 2012-2015. Professionally, since 2017 I’ve had the privilege to serve as Central Washington Director for U.S Senator Maria Cantwell.
In 2020, I was honored to be elected as a 4th CD Delegate for President Biden. As we all remember, the National Convention was virtual that August and, while I was thrilled to cast my vote to make Joe Biden our nominee, I didn’t get to experience the thrill of going to the convention in person. I’m running this year to ask for that opportunity.
It’s time to finish the job, defeat Donald Trump once and for all, and build on the great successes of this President. From supporting Washington’s agriculture industry, to energy and infrastructure investments in Central Washington that will support job creation and the 21st century economy we all envision, we must give President Biden four more years in the White House to keep our state, and our country, moving forward.
