I retired from the US Army in 2018 after 23-and-a-half years of active duty and have a 100% service-related VA disability rating . Since my retirement I’ve served as the Vice Chair and State Committee Member of the 7th Legislative District Democrats, as a State Committee Member and PCO in the 6th Legislative District Democrats, and as the treasurer of the Spokane County Democrats and 6th Legislative District Democrats.
I ran for State Representative in 2022 against Jenny Graham, and am running for her seat again this year. I refuse to yield the field to MAGA supporters who are working to take away our rights every chance they get.
In my free time I am taking college courses at Spokane Community College and will graduate with three degrees after this spring quarter. I am married to my husband of 31 years (who is also a retired disabled Veteran) and we have two adult children. While they are both living on their own, we share our home with two dogs, four cats, and (in the coop…) 10 chickens.
As a former Military Intelligence Professional, the actions of the GQP are extremely alarming to me, and as a former German citizen I know exactly where these people will lead us if they are not stopped.
