Michael Jones - 143

I could not be more excited about the opportunity to represent the people of the great state of Washington. I am a 4th grade teacher in the Everett School District and a building representative for the Everett Education Association Teachers Union, as well as a WEA-PAC member. Through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Washington Nakia Academy I was trained through the mentor 101 program to mentor diverse and marginalized first year teachers. Through these experiences my life has been enriched by a myriad of cultures, perspectives and life experiences that I bring with me and hold as valued assets. I am dedicated to serving our community and believe that balanced views and passion about the possibilities of the future can exist in the same space. My commitment to the values of this nation are complimented by my commitment to further the growth and fruition of the ideals set forth by the founders of this nation.
