As a candidate running for National Delegate to the Democratic Convention, I am honored to share my commitment to advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). With over two decades of advocacy for the autism, disability, and homeless communities, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to this important role.

Professional Background:
Diversity Consultant: Throughout my career, I have worked as a diversity consultant for companies in the Seattle area. My focus has been on promoting DEI within organizations, fostering inclusive environments, and advocating for underrepresented communities.

Volunteer Engagement:
Institute for a Democratic Future Fellow: I am proud to be part of the Institute for a Democratic Future, where I engage with fellow leaders to shape progressive policies and drive positive change.
Glass Leadership Institute Fellow: The Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute has provided me with valuable insights into leadership, community engagement, and social justice.
Take This, Inc. Volunteer: Supporting AFK rooms during video game conventions, I contribute to mental health awareness and well-being in gaming communities.
Xbox Autism Committee: As a Panelist and Volunteer, I collaborate with Microsoft’s Xbox Autism Committee to enhance accessibility and inclusivity in gaming.

Community Service:
Homes and Hope Community Land Trust: As a Board Member in this organization, it reflects my dedication to affordable housing and community development.
Snohomish County Coordinated Entry Advisory Committee: As a Lead Committee Member, I actively contribute to initiatives that address homelessness prevention, housing, and services in our community.

Party Leadership Roles:
Washington State Democrats Disabilities Issues Caucus : I serve as a Committee Member, advocating for policies that empower disabled individuals and promote accessibility.
38th Diversity and Representation Committee: In my role as Chair of the Committee, I champion diverse voices, ensuring equitable representation within our party.

Academic Pursuits:
Master’s Degree in Accessibility Studies: Currently pursuing my Master’s degree at Central Washington University (CWU), I maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA. My studies focus on accessibility, technology, and administrative management.
Future Goals: I aspire to obtain a PhD either in Micro Organizational Behavior with a DEI focus or in Information Studies with an emphasis on Accessibility.

Campus Leadership:
President of ABLE: As the leader of ABLE, a disability student affinity group at CWU, I advocate for accessibility, representation, and support.
Accessibility and Disability Action Planning Team: Collaborating with the President of Diversity, I work to enhance inclusivity across campus.
Equity and Services Council Representative: Representing student interests, I contribute to policy discussions and decision-making.
• Graduate Council for ITAM Member: My active participation in the Graduate Council informs academic policies and programs.
Student Conduct Council and Board of Academic Appeals and Academic Standing: I engage in maintaining a fair and supportive campus environment.

I am committed to amplifying diverse voices, fostering equity, and ensuring that every individual’s needs are heard and addressed. As a National Delegate, I will continue to champion these values at the Democratic Convention.
