It is my belief that in a society as prosperous as ours nobody should unnecessarily suffer. We have the ability and the responsibility to try and ease this suffering whether it be from health conditions, economic despair, bigotry, oppression, or any of the other multitude of causes.

The political discourse in our country has become far too focused on national gossip. Our elected officials caring more about landing the perfect insult than enacting sound policy. Through this, inequality in our country has risen and the quality of life for many has declined. Most of the population now struggling with rising costs, stagnate wages, crumbling infrastructure, declining access to services, more frequent natural disasters, and much more. Issues that especially impact rural communities.

We need to change the conversation in our communities, our party, and our nation. Prioritizing the needs of the people and focusing more on local issues. Beginning to talk more about solutions than our perceived enemies. As your delegate that is what I will work to do. Making sure that the voices, concerns, and ideas of Central Washington are heard.
