I am a PCO; a board member of the League of Conservation Voters; trustee of Salmon Nation; board member of the Alaska Wilderness League; Hubbard Council member of the National Geographic Society; board member of the Center for Environmental Forensic Science (CEFS) of the University of Washington; and board member of Cairnspring (flour) Mills. I started out in journalism, then law, and then I founded a Medicaid advocacy company that helped almost a million people (over a period of 25+ years) apply & appeal coverage denials.
