Jenny Slagle - 129

Jenny R. Slagle is an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation, and descendant of the Northern Arapaho tribe. The first to graduate college in her family, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – IT Management. She is a program officer at Inatai Foundation and co-owner of Indigenous Eats, a Native American restaurant with two locations in Spokane.

Jenny is also on the Partners With Family & Children Board, and previously on the Washington Budget & Policy Center Board, and the WA211 Statewide Board. Elected in 2019, Jenny is currently the Vice President of the Spokane Public Schools’ Board of Directors. As the first American Indian woman to sit on the SPS Board of Directors, she enjoys engaging and representing each of the diverse communities in Spokane.
