Darrell Powell - 173

Darrell is a Senior Level Executive with 30 plus years of experience in financial management, strategic planning, business development and working with the Board of Directors, Financial Institutions, Attorneys, and other stakeholders. He has an established record of success in developing and implementing business plans, joint venture strategies for both online and off-line businesses and significantly growing enterprise value. He has exceptional organization building and communication skills and a proven expertise in driving efficiency and productivity through evaluation of financial management systems and implementation of process improvements.

Darrell currently serves Interim CEO of the King County Regional Homelessness Authority, where he is responsible to lead the development and strategy execution to significantly decrease homelessness throughout King County, using equity and social justice principles.

Darrell currently operates Pinnacle Financial Services, PLLC, a certified public accounting firm offering accounting, tax, and entrepreneurial services. Darrell previously served in the role of Vice President and Chief Finance Officer for the YMCA of Greater Seattle.

Darrell joined the YMCA from United Way of King County, where he served as Chief Finance and Operations Officer and led finance and accounting, information technology, risk management, and facilities.

Prior to United Way, Darrell served as CFO (Chief Financial Officer) for Treehouse and College Success Foundation.
