Greetings, Fellow Democrats! I am a lifelong Educator- I started my journey as a teacher in WA public schools and am currently serving educators as a staff person with the Washington Education Association (WEA). I believe that a quality public education is our only pathway to true democracy and I am passionate about advocating for and organizing with workers, families, and the community to ensure Worker’s Rights and Voice are at the forefront of core decision-making that directly impact the lives of our students and families. As we say at WEA, Educator working conditions are our student’s learning conditions! In my personal life, I am the daughter of an Air Force veteran and married to an Army veteran. I’ve lived in WA State since graduating from Puyallup High School and I am extremely proud of the community I live in (Go Tacoma!). I love to garden, I love to travel, and I love to make and eat delicious food.
